When Life Hits with VENGEANCE

When life hits you with vengeance, you have 2 choices.

  1. Tap out

  2. Knuckle up

What are you going to choose?

I sure hope you pick the second choice. Girl, wrap your fingers in tape and put on your boxing gloves because it’s going to be one Hell of a fight. While you’re at it, get the sword of the spirit too!

You are not fighting yourself. You are fighting what you can’t see. You are fighting the accuser (Satan) of the brethren (God’s children). See, Satan, wants to try to get the best of you in your life. The enemy wants to steal your peace, kill your dreams, and diminish your hope.

I remember, not too long ago, life hit me with a VENGEANCE. Everything that could go wrong, did…all at once. I had car trouble, my job was having issues, and my identity got stolen. I would like to take this time and forgive the person in Belgium, if that’s where you really were, who took my card for a spin!

When you feel like you’re at your breaking point, keep going. You are that much closer to your miracle, your breakthrough.

I will never forget when I found out my card had been hacked. My mom and I finished an amazing lunch at Olive Garden. It was payday, or so I thought. I gave my card to pay and boom, declined. I checked my account and saw it, my entire check and then some, GONE. That was an embarrassing and infuriating.

That was the tip of my iceberg. I’m thankful my mom was in my corner. When I wanted to lose it, she redirected me to the WORD, which I did NOT want to hear. Why are you talking about trust God, my drafts are about to hit!

During this whole ordeal, I had to fight to keep my peace. I had to fight for my peace. It was so hard. I’m fighting my mind and the what if’s. But I did it. I fought, by remaining positive, by standing on God’s word and putting my favorite worship song on repeat!

Today, fighting for me looks something like striking yoga poses while listening to Christian Meditation Podcast and making positive declarations. When you feel like you’re at your breaking point, keep going. You are that much closer to your miracle, your breakthrough.

When life hit you with vengeance, fight! Knuckle up.
